Cobham
Excavations talk
A talk entitled Excavations at East Court will be given by Alan Ward at the next meeting of the Friends of Cobham Hall Heritage Trust, at Cobham Hall, on Friday, September 26. Alan was involved in the archaeological excavations which took place during the restoration of East Court at Cobham Hall last year. Some exciting discoveries were made such as shaped masonry which might be part of the original medieval manor house, and a suggestion of fire adds to the mysteries. Tickets cost £9 each which includes the buffet and glass of wine and must be reserved before Monday, September...
